Sophisticated Gentlemen Doing Sophisticated Things

A-town

Greetings gents. I must say I'm honored to share the new header with such a classy individual as one Andrew Floro. Got to do some videoconferencing with his office last week; very sophisticated.
So it snowed twice down here this week and I've been able to witness firsthand Southerners in the snow. With no more than a half inch of wet snow barely covering the ground, people are out building snowmen and (trying to) sled. Schools close, traffic stops, and I find it all very amusing. What's the story for the weekend of Foo? I can't stay for the concert but I'm considering coming up for the weekend. Keep me posted.
"Did you hear that everybody? They said they're not that drunk! Cheeky bastards!"

"I once saw him fart a plum... I was plum surprised"

Speaking of surprises....

For those of you in the DC area I haven't talked to...who am I kidding you all live with each other and see each other at work for God's sake. I am going to be in DC all next week for work doing a kickoff meeting for a Renaissance Clubsport (AKA God's work). As I am there meeting about/ designing racquetball and squash courts as well as spas for society's elite I look forward to a bit of revelry and shenanigans (the cheeky and fun kind) on the side, your schedules permitting. My schedule is as follows:

Arrival: Reagan National Mon. 21 January 0924
Departure: Reagan National Sun. 27 1755

So any german restaurants around??

Either way I'm really looking forward to coming that direction, we'll have good times as always and to be honest, not looking to do the tourist thing, I just hope you guys are up for a fun week. Just don't leave me passed out on the roof of a hotel.

And to finish as I started, with a beerfest quote...which will be watched damnit...

Barry Badrinath: I was in Thailand playing ping-pong in Ding-Dang. A high stakes game in some opium den. Turns out, these aren't the types of guys who like to lose. When I beat them, they beat me. They worked me over good. And this is hard to say. They held me down and shoved a ping-pong paddle up my ass.
Steve "Fink" Finklestein: Ah geeze Barry! I don't know what I'd do if someone shoved a paddle-handle up my ass!
Barry Badrinath: It wasn't the handle! I've been shitting pancakes ever since!

Great Gam Gam: You and I are not so different, Mr. Badrinath. I've had all kinds of things shoved up my ass. But I got over it!

Real funny, Deutsch bag.

This One's for Tom....

It's a pet Murphy Bed. So in case you ever get a lap dog... here you go. By the way on the Simpsons last night Apu gets kicked out of the house by his wife and moves into the Springfield Bachelors' Apartments. There's a sign outside that says, "Our beds are the murphiest!" Oh snap!

Life Update

Washington DC

Hey Fellas,
Just wanted to tap everyone into my life...

Things like...as of Sunday, my metro fare increased .55 cents per ride!! That means I'm getting bent over for $3.20 a frigin ride now! I mean, the proposed hike was 30 cents. 30 fuckin' cents. And I'm paying 55. Someone in the metro office deserves a cool punch to the junk. Not to mention, on the first day I had to pay these higher fares, not only did my train completely lose power in the middle of a tunnel (all trains on that line did that day because of a ground fault problem) I was stuck on a train with no less than 20 whining 8 year olds on there way to see a Hannah Montana Concert. OMFG! Is punching children really that big a deal? I think not. If I had to hear "Mom, I don't think we are gonna make it in time!" for one more second, I would have had to officially start a new football league. One in which children where used for punts and general field goal/kickoff plays. Maybe my league would really be more like rugby. A good drop kick to an 8 year old, right through the uprights.....and it's good. To add insult to injury, when I finally got off at my stop. Not only was one escalator broken, but all of them in the station were broken. 85 steps later and I was finally out on solid ground with all the crazies screaming in spanish and asking for my change. Boy is DC great somedays. I love this city.As of this past weekend also, I have purchased my flight to Boston come that faithful weekend in February. I'm not staying for the Foo Fighters sadly, but I will be getting in Fri afternoon. So I expect nothing but good times. And a final revelation for the day... April 19th is my birthday. April 19th is the Blue and Gold game. Coincidence? I think not. Honestly, what do you have to do that weekend.

Peace and much love guys.

Greg Boll = Bo Jackson

Congratulations, Greg, recipient of the Bo Jackson award for coolest guy at the New Years party last night in Arlington. Probably the very first award winner of 2008. I think I speak for everyone when I say "You da Man!" I'm glad those guys at that house know you as well as the rest of us.
